That experience revealed a persistent gap: many organizations need thoughtful, dependable software, yet the available choices are often too generic, too costly, or disconnected from the way people actually operate.

Eddie Garcia

Eddie Garcia is a software developer, technology consultant, and systems professional whose work has spanned custom applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration, and business continuity.

Across decades of long-term client work, his role has extended beyond designing or deploying technology. It has included maintaining systems, protecting them, improving them, responding when problems arise, and remaining accountable for whether they continue to serve the people who depend on them.

FIDDET represents a deliberate next step: carrying that practical experience into a reusable software foundation that can make capable, thoughtfully designed technology available to a wider range of organizations.

Beginning in the late 1990s, the work expanded across software development, databases, networking, infrastructure, and user support. By the time organizations were preparing for Y2K, it already included network security and firewall technologies—establishing the broad technical foundation that would shape the years ahead.

2004—2025

In 2004, that experience became an independent technology practice serving organizations through long-term software development, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, integration, continuity planning, and ongoing technical responsibility. Many engagements extended across years, allowing solutions to evolve alongside the organizations that depended on them.
